Bentham Library and other rural libraries are threatened with closure under proposals from North Yorkshire County Council. A recent public meeting showed the strength of feeling about the retention of the library. We are campaigning on all fronts to presuade NYCC to listen to people's concerns, do the right thing and start a fresh approach to the library service.
